Starting a hosting pltaform with $1,000,000 are you insane ? Count at least 50x that. Its 2020 people don't "start hosting platforms" they all rely on AWS. Even Netflix heavily relies on AWS, so it doesn't matter how you look at it, you're always hosted on someone's else's platform and you must abide by their terms. Even if you were to start your own datacenter you'd still have to rely on third party CDNs like amazon or akamai for streaming. There are no "freedom" and this guy got you good.
