  3.  @joeg6242  he's rich on paper but he isn't remotely liquid enough to get the $54 billion necessary to buy Twitter without taking the risk of crashing TSLA stock. And even still, he will never find a buyer for $54 billion worth of TSLA stock at that ridiculous valuation ( Tesla's entire assets are worth around 50 billion ) Someone like Bill Gates is diversified enough through Cascade investment and would have no problem finding the cash, but Elon simply doesn't have that kind of firepower, he's just being goofy as usual
