That whole "fake crime scene thing" may have been fun to watch, but the first 20 years verdict was overturned because of it : Her lawyer argued that this scene went viral on YouTube, it may have influenced the jury, that's why she was placed under house arrest for 6 years awaiting her new trial. So maybe it wasnt worth the laugh after all.

Anyway, at the end of the day, her lawyer managed to overturn the verdict using the fact that this scene went viral on YouTube and may have influenced the jury. So this whole fake scene wasnt such a good idea after all.

It was used for entertainement, obviously they had money to waste. Plus, that whole shitshow she put on made their case solid as rock.
