And how, exactly, will Canada capping its CO2 emissions get China to reduce its vast, world-leading amount of CO2 emissions? 11,680.42 Mtons of CO2 emissions in 2020 = China (32.48% of the global total) 542.79 Mtons of CO2 emissions in 2020 = Canada (1.51% of the global total) When does pressure get applied to China in order to get it to do something about its enormous CO2 output? Or is the idea here that every other nation has to slash its CO2 emissions so that China can increase theirs?
