@lstepan7 If our ancestors had not fought so hard to tell everyone who they should be based on their genitals we wouldn't even be having this conversation. There is a 99%+ correlation between a person's biological sex and their gender. That is, you can predict with better than 99% accuracy what a person's gender is just by knowing their biological sex, and you can predict with better than 99% accuracy what a person's biological sex is just by knowing their gender. In other words, biology and sexual dimorphism are at least as important in determining gender roles as is societal and family influence, and probably more important. And you are completely disregarding biology's massive influence.

The 2002 study by Leonard Sax, in reply to the study by Anne Fausto-Sterling claiming a 1.7% rate, put the rate at just 0.018% (1 in 5,555). Society was able to operate without much issue in regards to intersex medical condition people prior to five years ago.

@neoqwerty intersex condition people who are ambiguous, and forced into surgeries they can't even consent to for no medical reason? First, you'll have to provide some evidence that such things are happening and are happening at significant rates. Second, for a hair-raising account of such a thing in the past, look up the case of David Reimer and Dr. John Money.

@andrewtorrens7790 LGBTQ people want to have the same respect and rights as anyone else; they want simply be allowed to live their lives. 'L' isn't the problem. 'G' isn't the problem. 'B' isn't the problem. ('Q' is just trendy nonsense which can be disregarded.) 'T'' is the problem, because 'T' requires people to actively reject biology and actively reject reality. And most people are just not going to do that.
