@GreenBeanGreenBean The Ontario and Alberta governments both published hospital occupancy data. You can look up the percentage of ICU beds which were EMPTY. The Ontario numbers show that, for nearly the entire pandemic, the number of EMPTY beds in ICUs was LARGER than the number of beds occupied by COVID patients. Yes, you read that right. But to know that you had to look up the data for yourself; the public "health" officials and "journalists" were certainly never going to tell it to you. Of the 771 days for which the Ontario data was published (May 1, 2020, through June 10, 2022), on only 97 days was the number of ICU beds occupied by COVID patients larger than the number of empty ICU beds. That's 12.6%. The remainder of the time, there were more empty ICU beds than ICU beds used by COVID patients. The LOWEST the percentage of ICU beds sitting empty ever got during those 771 days was 15%. That's 1 in 7 ICU beds sitting empty at the worst moments of the pandemic. How can there ever have been not enough ICU beds when 15% at a minimum were sitting EMPTY? The public "health" officials LIED to you. The politicians LIED to you. The "journalists" LIED to you. And the government's OWN DATA shows it. Which is why one had to dig to find the data, because no one wanted to point to it since it would reveal the lies they were telling the public.

Indeed. She's finally out, but no public investigation of her actions announced. A full public investigation of "Dr." Hinshaw is very much needed.

@ugottabkidding...9942 Take a look at BC's loss of life from COVID in 2022. It's almost as bad as in 2020, which is unlike most other provinces which have significantly lower rates.

@MrBugPop Hinshaw did her best under all the circumstances. If you think that, you are woefully misinformed. Remember how Hinshaw LIED about the cause of death of an Alberta child? Hinshaw said the death was caused by COVID, but the child's parents came out and said the death had nothing to do with the virus.

Do we really want politicians who know NOTHING about health issues be in charge of how to deal with a public heath emergency? Definitely NOT. Neither do we want incompetent or corrupt public "health" officials dealing with a public health emergency. Which unfortunately is exactly what happened, incompetent and/or corrupt public "health" officials were in charge.
