I, for one, would be quite interested to know which politicians and public health officials, if any, owned stock in the company which manufactures the AstraZeneca vaccine or had other financial arrangements which might have impacted their judgement upon the vaccine's approval and use. Any chance of any journalist doing such research? What am I saying? Of course not. There are no journalists anymore, just paid propagandists and fearmongers.

  2. I think the bigger failure in all this is one that doesn't get mentioned nearly often enough: the news media. It is the job of the media to hold the government's feet to the fire, to challenge its statements and policies. Yet that hasn't happened. The news media is Canada went from being the watchdog of government to being the lapdog of government. But worse than that the news media is the one most responsible for fanning the flames of panic and hysteria about the virus. They've done nothing but scaremonger about COVID for a year straight.

  4.  @alexzanderthompson1709  It was evident in early April of 2020 that the risk posed by COVID was highly stratified by age. Yet this clear data was ignored and deceptive comparisons to Spanish Flu were made instead (and still are in some circles).
