@couch4330 If even 25% of our oil is derived by Russia, why did our prices go up nearly 100% in some locations? Because it's an international market and prices are affected by international circumstances. Note that the Biden administration made a big show of shutting some domestic U.S. crude oil production, a signal to the market that supply was being artificially curtailed. And when supplies constrict, prices go up. As to the increase in prices of everything else, when governments inflate the currency supply with sudden, massive, unsupported spending, inflation is inevitable result. And the U.S. federal government has engaged in a titanic spending spree the last few years. Most other Western governments did so as well. The fault for the woes, as it always does, rests with the utterly corrupt political class.

with tightened restrictions when covid was actually a thing everyone had anxiety I never had anxiety about COVID, because I was looking at the data for myself from early on, and I listened to some key knowledgeable people who were pointing out that the threat COVID posed was being greatly exaggerated. And everything that has come out since in the last two years has demonstrated COVID was an exaggerated threat.
