  2. Well, the EU27 nations actually surpassed the cuts called for in the Kyoto Protocols. CO2 emissions by EU27 nations in 2020 were 34% below its 1990 emissions total. That said, unless China gets on board with making big cuts to its CO2 emissions, it doesn't much matter what other nations decide to do.
