@publiccommentor5201 Percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere is a dumb argument. That 0.04% is what makes Earth's temperature habitable while the Moon's is not. (Both are effectively at the same distance from the Sun.) 78% of Earth's atmosphere is nitrogen, which plays no role in warming the Earth. 21% is oxygen, which also plays no role in warming the Earth. The less than 1% which are greenhouse gases (mostly carbon dioxide and water vapour) is what warms the Earth well above what its temperature would otherwise be. The better argument is to point out that what Canada does in regards to lowering its CO2 emissions is meaningless as long as China continues to pump out massive, world-leading amounts. China emits more CO2 in a day than does Canada in three weeks.

@publiccommentor5201 CO2 makes up only about 0.04% of the atmosphere. That is a dumb argument. Stop making it. You make yourself look like a fool every time you repeat it. There are much better arguments you can use.

Please tell me, Jagmeet Trudeau, how Canada meeting its emission targets means anything when China continues to increase its CO2 output? China pumps out more CO2 in a day than does all of Canada in three weeks. Are you just doing your pal Xi of China a favour by reducing CO2 here so his country can pump out even more?

There are much better arguments you can use. Pointing out that Canada reducing its CO2 output will do nothing to stop China from increasing its own is far better.

@yepyep2921 Jagmeet Trudeau can't call an election before Sept. 2025 according to the terms of the alliance with the NDP. Unless, that is, he decides to stab the NDP in the back.
