According to Gallup polling on the subject, 41% of American adult women oppose abortion --- that's four in ten. Weird how the "news" never mentions that. The idea that abortion must be either unrestricted or completely prohibited is also wrong. The reality is more nuanced as long-running Gallup polling data shows. In fact, 59% of Americans think that abortion should be legal only under some circumstances; only 27% think it should be legal under any circumstances while 12% think it should be illegal under all circumstances. The "news" never reports this nuance either. It's odd how a layperson like me can easily find this data which provides important context on the subject while allegedly professional journalists seem incapable of finding it.
