The EU27 nations' collective CO2 output in 2021 was 27% BELOW its 1990 CO2 output amount --- almost matching the Kyoto Protocol target. The problem is that China's CO2 output has QUINTUPLED since 1990, wiping out the reductions that the EU27 and other nations have achieved. Want to have an impact on the climate crisis? Get harsh sanctions slapped on China to force it to reduce its massive, world-leading amount of CO2 emissions.
