Who knew digging up millions of years worth of carbon and releasing it into the atmosphere could be problem? Indeed. And China is the world's expert at that action. But, weirdly, not one climate change activist says anything bad about China.

Well, Cash, if climate change bothers you, then you should start screaming at the country which is contributing to the problem far more than any other: CHINA. So far, climate concerned people studiously avoid naming China. Weird.

China laughs heartily, and pumps out even more CO2.

@aaronrogers8846 They're called condensation trails, or contrails for short. These are caused when the hot exhaust from a piston or jet engine mixes with the cold outside air, causing ice crystals to form. This happens at above certain altitudes due to the particular temperature and humidity combinations. This is basic physics that has been well understood for about a century. The formation of contrails can be predicted based on meteorological conditions. I suggest learning how things actually work instead of immediately leaping to fanciful and illogical conspiracy theories.

If it's climate change, that means we can blame China.

Well, CanadaClub89, if you are so concerned, when will you start screaming for sanctions to be slapped on China, given its massive, world-leading amount of CO2 emissions? You're going to completely ignore China, aren't you?
1
@bobwoods1302 I see Bob is ignoring China's massive contribution to climate change. I'm not surprised.
1
Well, if it's climate change, you are going to start screaming at China, right? You know, China, the world's #1 emitter of CO2.
1
@jamesmorrow1646 Better start screaming at China then, the world's biggest contributor to climate change.
1
And yet there won't be a single law against nor tax put on China, the world's #1 emitter of CO2 for 17 years in a row.
1
@Make_America_Native_Again Better start screaming at China if climate change is a concern.
1
Well, Zah, when can I expect you to start screaming at China, the biggest contributor to climate change in the world? In 2021, the EU27 nations collectively had a CO2 output 27% BELOW its 1990 output level. In 2021, the United States had a CO2 output 7% BELOW its 1990 output level. In 2021, China had a CO2 output FIVE TIMES GREATER than its 1990 output level. I see so many people talking about climate change yet they are completely silent on China's role in the problem.
1
STILL waiting for all the climate change worriers and activists to start screaming at China, the world's biggest contributor to the problem.

@nigelboisclair3553 China is the #1 emitter of CO2 in the world. It's been #1 for 17 years in a row. China has emitted more CO2 in the last 17 years than has the United States over the last 31 years. China has emitted more total CO2 since 1990 than any other nation in the world. Anyone who claims to care about climate change and is not screaming at China is either woefully uninformed or a fraud.
