There are no vaccine passports for influenza. Why not? Influenza and pneumonia has killed lots of Canadians. @tchevrier Why would polls be manipulated? Well, to get the results the paying party wants? It's no different than a company paying for a scientific study which --- surprise, surprise -- produces results that are exactly what the company was hoping to see. Corruption, big and small, is far more common that we think, unfortunately.

@coachcappadoch You can get statistically accurate results from samples of that size, but the poll has to be properly constructed. If those 1,000 people selected for the poll are not a proper representative sample of the larger population, the validity of the poll results goes down.

Comparing the 2020-21 COVID fatality totals in Canada by age group to the 2015-19 annual average of influenza and pneumonia death yields a result of between 2-4 times more deaths for COVID, with the exception of those under 20, who are at about 0.5 times. The age group with the largest difference is the 70-79 age range. Children and teachers need vaccines to attend school 8,121,022 = number of Canadians under the age of 20 11 = number of Canadians under the age of 20 who have died from COVID 11 out of 8,121,022 = 1 in 738,275 Does a 1 in 738,275 risk of death sound like a high enough level of risk that an experimental vaccine should be used on those under 20 given that there is NO data on the long-term health effects said vaccine might have on recipients in that age group? Vaccines aren't about you. They are about protecting others. Survival/recovery rate by age group according to the latest Ontario government COVID data published May 22nd: 0-19 years: 99.995% 20-29 years: 99.98% 30-39 years: 99.94% 40-49 years: 99.86% 50-59 years: 99.48% 60-69 years: 98.00% 70-79 years: 92.32% 80-89 years: 80.70% 90+ years: 71.35% Those under 60 -- who are three-quarters of the population -- are at minimal risk from COVID. The data is abundantly clear on this.

@icouldjustscream The narrative about variants is pure scaremongering. Don't fall for it. According to THE ONTARIO GOVERNMENT'S OWN DATA, the non-LTC case fatality rate during the spring wave is actually LOWER than that of the winter wave (0.69% versus 0.93%). A lower fatality rate despite 31% MORE cases in the spring and despite the rise of the allegedly more dangerous variants. Examine the source data for yourself and you will quickly discover that what comes out of the mouths of the news media, politicians, and public health officials is wrong.

@shieh.4743 They said the same in Ontario. Turns out THE GOVERNMENT'S OWN DATA showed that wasn't true. In fact, even when hospitalizations were at their highest in Ontario, over 15% of the ICU beds in the province were UNOCCUPIED. Moreover, there is the case of the missing 1,000+ ICU beds in Ontario. The Ford government in April of 2020 said it had raised the provincial total to 3,504. Yet the bed census data consistently showed fewer than 2,500 ICU beds in the province. Where did the other 1,000+ beds go the government said had been created to handle any COVID scenario? Do you honestly think the Manitoba government is any more honest or trustworthy than the government of Ontario? If you want to know what's really going on with COVID, stop watching the six o'clock news. Instead, go directly to the source data and examine it for yourself. If you do, you will discover that what that source data says - THE GOVERNMENT'S OWN DATA -- is quite different from what the news media, politicians, and public health officials say it says.
