  4. The Liberal-NDP government won't do it, they will continue to spend until the very end. It will be up to an incoming Conservative government to restore sanity to the nation's fiances, in a mirror of what happened in the early 1990s, when it was a Liberal government which had to fix the reckless spending of an outgoing Conservative government.
