  2. Never going to happen unless deflation occurs, which is only possible if the currency supply is reduced. Governments NEVER reduce the currency supply, they only increase it at a slower rate.

  4. Of course. The only way you can get deflation is for the federal government to reduce the currency supply, which it will never do. The most you can hope for is for it to limit the rate at which it inflates the currency supply.
