  1. I think Russia still believes Article 5 will deter it from invading Europe. that is why Putin is just threatening and not invading, all talk no walk. Russian army cant even win in Ukraine what more if it invades NATO Europe. Putin does not want to be the main lead starring role in a remake of Desert Storm 2.0 with Putin playing Saddam Hussein. I do however suspect all this western media rhetoric about war with Russia is to deter the Russians and respond to Russian threats, that is how you deal with Russia.
