Agree with Sean Mcfate, bleeding Russia dry means collapse of the Russian economy due cost of war, destruction fo the Russian army, depletion of equipment, and most importantly loss of support for Putin. I think while the Soviet Afghan war analogy is apt I think its also apt comparison to the Iran Iraq war. where Iran was bled dry by the end of the war. Also the Iran iraq war benefitted the military industrial complexes of China, USA, Western Europe, Brazil etc. as they made mucho mucho dinero selling arms and supplies to both sides. People like Adnana Khashogi who was the preeminent arms dealer of the 1980s sold to both sides of the war was one of the richest men in the world at the time.

I think the Ukr backed Russian insurgent army has been creating more trouble recently you dont really hear anything about it except that the Russians in the past few days have beeen heavilly bombarding Sumy Ukraine , one of hte main bases of the Russian insurgent army. hmmm...maybe a renewed offesnive by the Russian army to finally get rid of this army.

  3. In the end Russia collapses, Ukraine regains its lost territory but at a massive tragic cost. But in the end Ukraine regains all its territory , joins NATO and gets trillions in reconstruction monies. Russia on the other hand, probably sliding into civil war, economic collapse political chaos, break up etc.
