after this war is over the political situation in Russia will be like the 90s on steroids the worse political situation since the 1917 revolution. noting many factors such as : 1. economic collapse, 2. Thousands of soldiers not paid going back to a economically collapsed Russia. 3. massive anger at the Russian gov. 4. Russian oligarchs forming their own PMCs(when political factions have their own private armies and the strong leader is gone, well this does not end well). 5. foreign meddling in the Russian political situation post Putin. 6. No strong leader after Putin is gone. 6. Secessionists. I dont think the Russian Fed will collapse and break up however I do think the Russian fed will lose territory to seccesionists.

after this war is over and Putin gone and there is going to be a lot of wanted Russian war criminals starting with many gov and military officials, like Medvedev, shoigu, garasimov, Kadyrov and oligarchs like Prigozhin and propoganda pundits which will be arrested when they step out of Russia and sent to a a war crimes trial, and the Ukrainians will be hunting for them, kill on sight orders. I expect a lot of Russian officials and oligarchs will be falling out of windows after this war.

the Ukrainians these days identify more with Poland and Europe rather than with Russia. After this war, Ukraine wants nothing to do with Russia.

@oldernu1250 Yep the upcoming Russian civl war will be a MESS, multi faction civil war similiar to the 1917 to 1922 civil war, with various oligarch private armies or coalitions of them vs. secessionists, vs. nationalists, vs. warlord/bandits vs. liberal democrats etc. When you have Russian oligarchs forming their own PMCs, like wagner, Patriot, Gazoprom(yes they just formed their own PMC) etc. and Putin is gone and no strong leader to replace him what happens next in a battle for succession, and in the political chaos secessionists like Chechens will take advantage.

The Russians think they understand the west, they dont, they have severely underestimated Biden, Zelensky and NATO and their resolve they think we are weak, hahahha, it shows in reality who is really weak. haah.

well I think the western view now is to weaken Russia very much to the point that it does not become a military threat to its neighbours. and Russia is doing that in Ukraine. Its military is being ground down. with massive casualties equipment losses and Economic disruption. Russia will become a pariah state when it uses WMDs in Ukraine.

Im not surprised the major reason why Russians oligarchs are dying in large numbers since this war started is that many RUssian oligarchs hate Putin and do not like this war and many of them collaborated with western intelligence agencies. and probably gave a lot of info on the inner working of Putin's inner circle and top secret info, like the start of the war in Feb 2022, USA seemed to know the exact date on when it would happen. Also not only the oligarchs but also many Russian gov and military officials gave intel to western intel agencies. Russian gov and military are so corrupt anything can be bought at the right price even super top secret info.
