Also not only that, Ukraine was already hammering Russian logistics in the southern front espeically hard for months, and also hitting Russian reinforcements as they move into the southern front. So the Russians dont really have a reserve in the southern front, they have to rail them from other fronts and by the time they are sent to fight the Ukrs fro the railheads, they are weakened, also low in supply and ammo. That is why the Ukrs are still advancing despite Russians trying to bring in reinforcements to the southern front in desperation and Russian commanders int he Russian front constantly complaining of low artillery ammo , and low manpower. The only things slowing the Ukrs are massive amoutns of minefields, very extensive Russian fortifications, tunnels , trenchlines and Russian air support. Also astounding the Ukrs are advancing with very little if any air support. and at the start of the offensive inthe south the Russians had hte artillery advantage but Ukrs concentrating on hitting Russian ammo dumps and artillery pieces had a very strong effect as the Russians literally have a bad artillery shortage in the southern front, as well as bad artillery ammo shortage. So the Ukrainians have a artillery advantage over the Russians in the southern front. Putin is so desperate he has to meet with Kim Jong Un leader of the NKs to buy artillery ammo and more artillery missles etc.

I htink the Ukrainians are correct in their tactics , the intiial tactics wree not good but they have vastly improved, helped vastly was the liberal use of US cluster munitions which destroyed a lot of Russian artillery pieces along with hitting Russian position as cluster munitions is very good vs. Russian infantry in trenches. But I think Russians built extensive defensses which are very formidable for any army.

oh and just 1.5 years ago, Ukraine was much weaker in terms of military and economy to Russia, like western analyst literally predicted Ukraine would fall in a week or two in the face of a Russia invasion , fast forward 1.5 years later, Ukraine recovered 50 percent of territory of what it lost from Russia, and the Ukrainians are doing major offensives vs. the Russians while the Russians have 95 percent of their current standing army in Ukraine, its so bad, the Russians are force recruiting Russian sailors training them for a few days to serve as ground troops in Ukraine. Russian spetsnaz units are manned by poorly trained conscripts who pretend to be spetsnaz and meanwhile the Ukrainians are attacking Russia even attacking Moscow with drones and the Russians are not able to do anything about it hahahaah. RUSSIA WILL LOSE THIS WAR. BADLY...so Russian trolls, go blame your leader Putin for making Russia, the LAUGHINGSTOCK OF THE WORLD>

Supposedly the 2nd strong military in the world Russia has to buy poor quality copies of Russian weapons from North Korea. HOW LOW CAN YOU GO RUSSIA....just last year this wouuld have unthinkable, I remember when Putin fanboys were laughing at me when I commented summer of last year, Russia would soon be sending T-55s and WW2 weapons to ukraine and would start buying weapons form China , Iran and North Korea, well 2023 boy was I right. Now Putin is begging low quality North korean weapons from Kim Jong UN LOL. HOW EMBARASSING RUSSIA HHAHAHAH

@MJ-1981 Yes Zelensky gets weapons free from the best quality countries like the USA UK France Germany etc. Meanwhile Putin has to buy very low quality weapons from North Korea hahaahah, like poor copies of Russian weapons, HOW EMBARASSING RUSSIA.

@MJ-1981 and to add, he is buying weapons at a big mark up. Iran NK, China selling Russia weapons supplies poor quality at that at 3X the price, meanwhile Ukraine gets much better quality equipment from the west FOR FREE. and Ukrainians are well using them to defeat the Russians handidly .

@gumby2241 Soviet firearms ammo are easier to maintain, however as for artillery ammo its harder to store and maintain, its not rocket science to do so competently but the problem is Russian corruption, when you have the Russian quartermasters stealing the crap out of the storage money they have been allocated for the past 40 years, this will have a big effect on their usage decades later, hence the big dud rate in Russian artillery ammo as well as their bad habit Soviet era artillery doctrine where they like to do mass blanket fires with artillery , that is why they have to turn to North Korea, Iran and CHina to get artillery ammo.

@amanwitheyes well here is the difference between US and Russian made cluster munitions, the Russian cluster munitions are inaccurate and have a dud rate of 50 to 75 percent, the USA cluster munitions are accurate and have a dud rate of about 2 to 40 percent(depending on the age of the cluster mnunition used, I assume 2 to 10 percent since the USA probably gave the latest iteration to the Ukrs). That is why the Russians used a lot of cluster munitions on the Ukrainians since the war started but it has been mostly ineffective and from what I read many of the Russian cluster munitions used are of the Soviet variety(1970s and 80s storages). Im not surrpised the Russians dont really use cluster munitions these days since they have a bad shortage having used most of them. in the south the Ukrs prioritized using these munitions on Russian artillery since they were getting preety bad and stalling the Ukrs offensive in the south.

@amanwitheyes yes that one too, that is also another factor slowing down the Ukrs, the russians had half a year to build their defenses and they did a superb job, (with Kazakh cheapo construction labourers no less). and a NATO doctrinal armoured thrust without air support , months of massive bombings and probes would have been murdered by the minefields and defenses. USA conducted a 5 week long massive bombing campaign on the Iraqis during Desert Storm before the final armoured thrusts , Ukraine does not have the air force to conduct such a campaign and the Iraqis buid a large network of bunkers, trenches, fortificatons, tunnels along the Saudi Kuwait border,
