  1. Even in WW2, USSR was not exactly a USA close ally. allies of convenience vs. the Axis that is. However with that said I can see post pUtin Russia joining the EU and NATO several decades after the war is over. sponsored by Ukraine hahahaha

  2. agree with you preston, I think for the USA Ukraine does not have to necessarilly "win" this war but drag Russia into a bloody quagmire as long as it can to weaken the Russian military and economy and get putin out of power.

  3. yep the real reason is it is paramount to have a really weakened Russia and Putin out as pres. of Russia. and a weakened Russia in political turmoil can make it easier to influence the Moscow gov . Russia after the war is over will be a political battleground between China and USA.
