  1. well 85 percent of the standing Russian army is stuck fighting in Ukraine trying to defeat the Ukrainians so bad the Russians had to call NKs Taliban , houthis for help, I heard the Russian presence in Syria in very minimal these days, the personel sent and dead in Ukraine, heck Putin has been trying to convince Assad to send volunteers to Ukraine but he has his hands full fighting the rebels. and can only send some. (mostly also kaput). So Russia is not coming to save Assad, and the Iranians who have a much bigger presense in syria than the Russians cant even defeat the rebels. So yah you are seeing a resurgence of the Syrian rebels who probably might even overthrown the Assad gov putting Syria in chaos. Probably spread to Lebanon undermining Hezbollah there. Yep the Hezbollah had thousands of volunteers in Syria helping Assad but most of them have been withdrawn back to Syria. and this really weakened the Syrian army. Yes the Syrian army is big a bit bigger than the rebels, but most of them have low motivation and many hate the Assad gov. and sell weapons and info to the rebels and even participate as rebels while going back to being Syrian army. so that is why Assad has to rely on his ethnic shia part of his army and foreign suport esp. from the Russians and Iranians. however Assad these days is bereft of those supports , the Russians stuck in Ukraine, iranians too busy with Israel and having very bad economic problems.

  3. nderstandable guess who trained the Syrian army....the Russian army, and the Russian army without any minders or soldiers who will shoot retreaters, the Russian army when faced witih superior forces runs away and abandons their vehicles hhaha. Just like during the late 2022 Ukrainian Eastern Ukraine counteroffensive when the Russian army had 3 divisions collapse in the face of the Ukrainian thunder run offensive its men running away back to Russia in stolen bicycles and cars, and leaving behind 450 Russian tanks and APCs hahaah. most intact and in working order. hahah.
