  2. Cause China is not stupid. China just playing lip service to Russian, Yah China is probably financing Russia very much under the table. China wants Russia to not be angry at it, since after the war, China will very much take advantage of Russia's economic disaster due to the war, and try to make Russia an economic vassal.

I can see China "renting" annexing Russian territory supporting former Russian republics as Puppet independent states, I can see China controlling Central Asia, and Russia east of the Ural Mountains with several puppet independent states. while Russia west of the Urals is under control of a USA EU supported west centric Moscow gov. Caucasus: Mainly Pro USA EU Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. However an Emirate of the Caucasus is formed from now independent Chechnya , Daghestan and other former Russian republics. They have good relations with China but so so but improving with the west. (poor relations with Ukraine and Poland and a bunch of EU countries who support the Anti Kadyrov factions). Post Putin Russia becomes the wild west. from 2023 to 2030s.
