Russian gov. is really stupid, the Russian soldier who did this is ethnic Russian asian from around the Caspian sea.   4. killing POWs will not only be bad for the perpetrators after the war esp. on losing side but also it will make the Ukrainians fight harder , make the Ukrs fight to the death , Russian war crimes propoganda fails will result in force multipliers for the Ukrainians as it will make them fight harder, get them angry motivate them more and fight to the end, this will just contribute to Russian defeat in this war.

  5. gaslighting since he is getting desperate nothing to fall back on, the word is, the Russians are just waiting until winter and then turn off the energy tap to the Europeans and hope they can pressure the Ukrainians to agree to Russian peace terms. This will fail. but cause political economic instability in the EU. After that those actions will cause great enmity between the EU and teh Russians and will lead to more sanctions with teh Russians nothing to fall back on and by spring of 2023 they are losing the war badly. with the Russian economy on the ropes. Putin will get really desperate and do escalations to near war levels with NATO. maybe even try to use a tactical nuke. THe Russians will have no real strategy to fall back to except military escalation with the west to try to pressure the Ukrainians to give up and agree to peace terms . The Ukrs will never agree to any Russian peace terms unless, its going back to pre war borders at least. Putin or any of his ultranationlist allies will never agree with this. and the USA and NATO will really want a super weakened but stable Russia that is not able to threaten them. The Turks and Chinese just waiting for a Russian gov collapse so it can exploit super cheap Russian resources and also weaken Russia at the same time.
