Its not only Ukr patriots in Crimea, but also the fact that the Russian army and gov are really corrupt like Russians soldiers are willing to sell weapons and even military secrets to anyone with teh money to buy. And Ukraine has a lot of money to spend on these things thanks to USA and EU financial aid.

  5. Be interesting how the Russians will react when the Ukrs retrake Bakhmut and Mariupol and possibly collapse the Russian southern front. This will be a political disaster for Putin, I can see him call for a general mobilization which will cause a lot of unrest in Russia. and Putin will clamp down hard even more on people who criticize how the war in Russia is being run.

Ive heard of Russians even trying to convince African countries into sending volunteers and their convicts to Ukraine. also heard of them recruiting in refugee camps in Belarus, and yah I have heard that a number of Syrians and other refugees took them up on the offer(Russian citizneship thousands of USD), many are kaput worms for the earth. Also I have heard that Russian want to recruit North koreans to fight in ukraine, this was a major topic in the recent talks between Putin and Kim despite Putin denying it. However from what I hear it fell thru since Kim wnated a lot of money per head. and other demands.
