  1. I think NATO will survive minus the USA, and if the dems come back to power, USA will probably be accepted back into NATO but USA troops will probably not come back to Europe. Russia in the meantime might view this as a victory, but the Russians are fragile, I think the Russian threat will be neutralized, when Putin and his regime is gone, without a reliable successor and a still hostile Europe and a future hostile USA , Russia I think goes into Time of Troubles 2.0 in the next decade. and that is when Ukraine regains its lost territories and then some. probably annexes more Rusian territory as payment for the war.

  2. even if the USA comes to its senses in the future, it will not be viwed the same by its allies and other countries, they cannot trust the USA the same way before trump since they view the USA politics as unstable and it will take decades for normal relations to come back. Canada in particular will get closer with EUrope Latin America and possibly china rather than have the majority of its trade with the USA.
