Japan, small arms, not superior, they lack submachineguns Japanese were outproduced massively by the Allies in submachineguns. and their homegrown sub guns sucked balls, the Japanese infantry was primarilly bolt action rifles supported by bren gun type LMGs copied from Chinese equpped Czech LMGs. Planes, Allies again were more superior however the Japanese had plane tech good enough to fight the allies. Ships, superior at the start but sucked later as the war went on. however Japanese torpedoes were more superior than the Allies , also Japanese ships many lacked radar. So in my opinion the only Japanese arm that was technically superior to the allies would be their plane and their torpedoes. otherwise they were behind in other aspects.

  2. Japan had a superior portable knee mortar which is like having a squad level M79 like grenade launcher in WW2.
