  1. Not mentioned , Japanese squad (section) WW2, comprised of 12 men. had 9 Arisaka type 99 rifles 10 rpm each 1 Type 99 LMG with an RPM of 112 rpm = 202 RPM. Japanese did not have a lot of submachineguns, they had a lot less compared to their axis and allied counterparts. and their officers went into combat with a pistol and a samurai sword. Chinese KMT squads, had around 12 men. had very simlar firepower to the Japanese, using 9 Chinese Chiang Kai shek rifles. (Chinese copy of the German Kar 98) 10 kps each. and a Chinese copy of the ZB VZ.26 light machine gun 112 RPM. = 202 RPM. Interestingly the KMT Chinese forces used more submachineguns than the Japanese. but again like the Japanese submachineguns were used by special units.
