This will have a massive effect on the stability of the Putin regime after the war. as his ability to rule is already being questioned by his elites. is will get worse after the war is over. Putin will retailiate by purges and blaming elites for the war failures, and Russian elites has a lot of PMCs private armies protecting them, hundreds of thousands of Russian veterans being demobilized angry facing high unemployment hyperinflation high food prices , feeling abused by the Russian gov. a good recruitment pool for the PMCs opposing Putin, I think the start of the Russian civil war will be Putin trying to purge the Oligarchs and elites .
