Last year, the Russians were talking down to Ukraine saying how weak the Ukrainian military was and how they would win in two weeks in Feb 2022. and the Russians were even saying this in summer of 2022 even after they got defeated at Kiev, well the loss of Kherson and the repulse from Kharkov and the loss of Izyum and Russian mobilization really put paid to that notion that the Russian army can actually "win" this war and conquer Ukraine. now Putin is talking about defending the annexed territories no more talk of conquering all of Ukraine. and you have Russian military figures like Igor Girkin and Prigozhin openly criticizing the Kremlin for mishandling the war, and the Ukrainains are now raiding into Russia and droing drone attacks on MOscow along with a lot of terrorist actions vs. Russian infrastructure, and just today, the Russians blew up the dam, and flooded southern Kherson. yep the Russians blowing up the dam is a sign they are losing the war and desperate to prevent a Ukrainian offensive breaching into Crimea. This is a normal strategy if you want too prevent a strong enemy force which you cannot fight from advancing, Ukrainians did it early in the war to hamper a Russian advance in Northern Ukraine, the KMT Chinese did it in 1937 when they breached the dikes in central China and caused a massive flood to stop a strong Japanese advance.

well I understand where milley is coming from noting that his background is in the cold war where NATO really feared the Soviet army. I think he still equates the Soviet army with the Russian army, the Russian armyi is a pale shadow of the USSR army. and the Soviet army itself in the cold war I think was overrated as NATO officers found out later int he 90s when they conducted joint excercises , found the Russian army of the 90s which still had a very close semblance of the Soviet army in the cold war to be sloppy in their doctrine training, command and control. discipline etc. Heck even Russian army officers in the 2000s stated to a retired USA general that they wanted to get rid of all those Soviet army thinking and doctrine still pervading the Russian army since they were really detrimental to the development of the Russians army to a proper 21st century army that can toe to toe with the USA. well looks like they failed to do that , the Russian army of 2023 is much more like the Saddam Iraqi army of the 80s and 90s. if the Russian army of 2023 actually fought NATO now, it would be like the USA fighting Saddam's Iraqi army of 2003, since the Russian army of 2023 is a shadow of the RUssia army pre 2022 Ukraine war. since they lost so much men and materiel. and its economy cannot really support its war in Ukraine(note 95 percent of the Russian army of 2023 is deployed in and in support of the war in Ukraine let that sink in).

well its true what General milley said but the Ukrainians are out per formed beyond all expectations in this war. like start of the war Russia had 10X the GDP and military power of Ukraine. Now 1.5 years and 250K casualties later, the Russians cannot even perform major offensives anymore while the Russians are talking in fear of the upcoming Ukrainian counteroffensive and the Ukrainians have recaptured 50 percent of the territory they lost to Russia. and you see serious factionalism in the Russian political system with Prigozhin seemingly openly challenging Putin and the Russian army leadership.

I think this new world order will be short lived, I predict the war will go on , without USA support to Ukraine but with increased European support for Ukraine, and USA will suffer a consitutional crisis so bad there will be massive protests in USA cities, along with economic recession, and Trump will attempt martial law which will get him impeached and arrested, and while that one is happening China either blockades or invades Taiwan while the USA is distracted by interla problems.

I predict after this war is over, Russia will go into civil war , Russia will become like China in the 1920s ruled by warlords with no central gov. or be like Mexico int he 1910s where you had a succession of political factions taking over after overthrowing the previous gov. nevertheless, I predict the civil war will last a decade , with millions of Russians as casualties, a collapsed Russian economy and millions of Russians becoming refugees to Europe in the largest European refugee crisis since end of WW2. Putin wanted to be Peter the great, he will be compared to Czar Nicholas II , the Czar who lost the Russian empire. Well Putin will be rated as one of the worst leaders Russia has ever had, heck even Yeltsin will be rated as a competent leader over him, even though Yeltsin was a drunk bufoon who liked to dance and grope women in public , Russia was stable more or less and had more or less good relations with the west. Putin started out as a great leader with a lot of promise, now he is about to destroy his own country Russia and being compared to hitler. Yes the Russian fed I predict ten years of civil war will still exist minus 50 percent of its pre war teritory. New nations wil form as massive areas of the Russian fed secede. Yep, you wil see the return of many Russian hookers in the streets of Clichy Paris Hamburg St. Pauli just like the 90s but on roids.
