Looking at the 2nd year, yes its a bloody stalemate, but still the Ukrainains have performed much better than anticipated, since Feb 2022. yes while there was a lot of bluster of thiem smashing the Russians back start of 2023, which turned out to be disappointing, looking at everything and comparing the size strenght of their military forces, Ukranians have done a solid excellent job fighting the Russians.

ive read Russians online making jokes that the Russian federation will be renamed the Ukrainian federation soon when the Ukrainians capture Moscow which is 8 hours driving time from the Ukrainian lines. Zelensky will be a great president of the former Russian federation hahah

I think this year 2024 will be the most pivotal year of the war, my view is taht Biden wins this year and the dems sweep the house and senate. thsi will be a disaster for Russia and the USA will ramp up aid to Ukraine, 2025 will turn out to be annus horribilis for Russia, as for how long the war will go, I think it will finish in 2026 or in 2027. as the Russian economy starts depressing and affecting the average Russian. The Russians may have lots of tanks and APCs but its finite. and making more and repalcing the lost ones costs the Russians lots of money. and the sanctions may not seem to hurt the Russians but its hollowing out its economy. I think the war will end with negotiations and I think with the Ukrainians having the upper hand in negotiations. I think the Russians will withdraw from all of Ukraine ncluding the crimea, in return no war crimes trial and reparations for Ukraine, in fact, the west will release the 350 billion USD of Russian wealth fund it holds frozen to the Russians to rebuild their economy. Also Russians will accept ukraine joining NATO and EU and of course by this time Putin is out of power.

The biggest battles of the war will occur in 2025 and 2026 as the Russians desperate try to collapse the Ukrainians and the Ukrainians up arm and do major offensives and defeat the Russian in the battlefield but not enough to remove them from Ukraine. I predict Russian control of Ukraine will shrink from 20 to 10 percent. in 2026. and the Russian economy starts going into a nosedive in 2025 and the Russians start suffering from tank and APC shortages in 2026. and Russian public protests increase. I predict Russia loses this war in 2027. with a massacre of hundreds of Russian protesters, coupled with a major mutiny in the Russian armed forces and start of civil war in Russia coupled with Ukrainian offensives taking advantage of the loss of command and control in the Russian military. Russian military in Ukraine collapses something not seen since Operation storm 1995 or Desert storm 1991. Mass desertions and surrenders destroy the Russian army in ukraine. as the Ukrainians reclaim the rest of their conquered territories and Russia goes into civil war.

well these guys support Putin since they fear withouit Putin their situation will be worse than it is, and they are right. WHen putin goes there will be a period of chaos. and these guys will suffer a lot , in fact if they thought their situation is grim, when Russian gov goes into chaos, holy shit, these guys will be the first to get it bad. thousands will die in winter or due to high crime rates due to collapsed law and order.
