  5.  @davidrichter9980  well for starters yorktown is in the mud which means you need to dig her out which takes.......much more than five days. Second you need a place to take her for the duration with...not alot of berths are just sitting around waiting for a ship that size. You need 4 tugs minimum which again....probably not easy to get in this crisis. As for the non physical obstacles you need to file a tow plan with the city administrator and the secretary of the navy at least 90 days prior to the move where this will be "expeditedly" reviewd. This can take 2 to 4 weeks by itself. That's just if you move it to drydock or another berth in port. To move out to sea you have to notify and get coast guard approval on top of all this. And the fees. Towing fees. Docking fees. Fuel. Labor. If you're gonna move a museum ship you move it to drydock. Thats....pretty much it.and even doing that takes years of planning and fundraising
