I mean........technically it was the security that failed. You could've started all s*** you wanted but it would've meant nothing if the line was held. And he wasn't expressly in charge of capitol security. He's still an idiot for this half assed attempt of a takeover but it's more a "in name only" situation.

@chingchingbingtingsinglong6884 considering the guy rallied up everyone in the first place I don't think it's logical to expect him to be the one to stop it. Plus it's not like it was unexpected. The tweets leading up to it. The fact he was 3 shades pissed after election night........this isn't a case of "shouting fire in a crowded building" its a case of someone saying "I'm going to set that crowded building on fire" so.............he's absolutely responsible on that front but.......there's a argument to be had that security should've been much more beefed up or an attempt should've been made to stop the rally. File an injunction on the grounds of suspicion of a unlawful assembly based on evidence..........or national security......and none of these measures were taken. And when you look at how many other other politicians involved......yeah I can't beyond a reasonable doubt lay the blame solely at his feet. He's the "Bill Lambeir" of it all. He agitated everyone then he walked away. And why those agitated people were able to do what they did is the real question. And that answer has alot more names to it than just him.
