  1. In a black in white world yes a complete lockdown for the duration is smart. Sadly this world is many shades of gray and there's economic as well as political forces at work as well. A complete shut down is just not doable. The best we can do is open the country VERY slowly that way we can go back if needed. But ending the quarantine is inevitable. Washington was never behind it and now the people are losing interest as well.
