  6.  @thisistheaccountname  What makes them innocent? We're they not using the bricks that they made to build their structures? The common people knew full well what their plight was. They knew full well that not not only were the making bricks. But they had to gather their own straw. This was public knowledge. But did any of them step in? Did pharaohs firstborn or any other firstborn for that matter do anything? No. And that makes them guilty by ignorance. Because as James 2:26 tells us. "Faith without works is dead". Yes they were not doing those things to the Israelites. But they were reaping the benefits and they made no attempt to stop the unjust treatment. Would they have been spared if they did? Yes. Remember God spared Rahab and her family when the Israelites conquered Jericho because she did not reveal the spies. Everyone else was killed. He did not destroy the Gibionites because they recognized isreal had divine backing and they showed support for the arrangement. Even though the rest of cannan was conquerd. He allowed Joshua and Caleb to enter the promise land because of their good reports. Yet no one else from their generation did because they believed the rest of the spies. Yes God cares for those that care for him and put faith in him no matter who it is. But that faith requires works and physical support for his arrangment and worship. It is simply not enough to say. You must do (Mat.22:37-40). The Egyptians didn't do that. They did not show that support. They did not put faith in him or his chosen people they made no attempt to stop the unjust treatment. so the plagues including the final one were rightly justified. (Due. 32:4, Job. 34:10)
