  3. They'll continue until people realize you cant skirt the curfew. They have to make an example. It definitely Sucks for the guy. But in a city full of so much rebellion already, you can't give the people an inch. You have to show them that No means No. You gotta scare them straight.

  7. They will. You are essential essential personnel. Your needed past curfew and if you have an Id, they can't argue with that. You'll be fine. They made an example of this guy to make all non essential personnel think before trying to skirt the curfew.

  8.  @dubnessIII  yeah, he was out past curfew. That's a law and he was subject to it and he broke it. Look. The cops don't wanna do this. They don't wanna place another target in their back. But the city has already rioted, the people are already in a rebellious mood. You can't give them a inch. You have to enforce the curfew and you have to do it in a way that will make others too. This incident here is the cops playing physiological warfare. Basically making a example of this guy to make people think twice before trying to break it. Scaring straight sorta thing. Now in no way shape of form should this be condoned. But there is an argument to be had that this is not as blatant as other police brutality incidents we've seen. There's kinda of a purpose to it.
