Anybody else that has a pet dragon puppet would be amazing cool and a little weird๐๐๐ Adam Savage has a pet dragon puppet. I'd say that's typical. The man is a cut above the rest of us in terms of collectables. He's like that kid that's unlocked every item in the game๐๐๐๐

Can we just take a moment to appriciate how supportive his mom is. My mom once saw me talk into a camera and she thought i was loony๐คฃ๐ yet she isnt batting a eye. Shoutout to Mrs. Savage๐

Why?๐๐๐I'm not complaining. Just why? What posses someone to wake up and say "Hey, I wanna build a mini shipping container"๐๐๐ you are one of a kind Adam and that's why I love this channel๐

ย @MrDengo999ย The two were mated together using the aptly named Mate-Demate Device. A large stationary crane. It picked up the shuttle using a special cradle and placed it on special mounts on the 747 that lined up with the external tank attachment points There was one at the Shuttle Landing Facility at KSC. One at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. And much simpler moblie one that was never used at Vandenburg Air Force Base, CA.

Pretty good story

Youre not wrong. But everything about the shuttle is designed for micro gravity and to be as light weight as possible. Walking inside it in our 1 G enviroment would cause lots of damage. And would require lots of special equipment and fixtures only NASA has.

Mood. Im sorry

Mechanics. Robots may take over. But youre gonna need people to fix them. Unless they get smart enough to fix themselves. But then unemployment will be the least of our problems๐๐คฃ๐๐คฃ๐๐คฃ

ย @goo_90ย yes Gemini 2 to be exact. It was used as the second flight test of the gemini program. And on the one and only test flight of MOL in 1970. For this flight a circular door was added to the heat shield. Both flights were unmanned though. The shuttle is the worlds first reuable space vehicle in terms of of carrying people on consectutive missions.

I would love to see this guy tackle the Keddie Wye or Clio Trestle.

As a introvert im very happy with my present life. I could never deal with people willingly trying to instigate a conversation and all the social interaction. I like disappearing into a crowd or standing right behind somebody becausr they don't notice im there. You can keep it๐๐คฃ๐๐คฃ And because im not very outgoing, the best thing youd get from me if i saw you would be a smile or a head nod. Im not that guy that has to meet you or get a picture. Because at the end of the day its my memory of that event and if people dont wanna believe I saw so and so than so be it.๐๐คฃ๐๐คฃ And the best way to be a fan of a person is to treat them just like any other person. They want that anonymity more than anything.

You're right, but skylab was .....technically..... part of apollo. It was called the apollo applications program. And skylab was one of the many projects that were supposed to happen but due to funding cuts only skylab actually materialized. Skylab 4 was the third and final mission for the program so that makes it the final mission for apollo.

1:05:20. That montage was fire. Your DJ got a great sense a rhythm.

I definitely was. Not because he was off putting. But because my social skills just suck in a meet and greet setting. What i wanted to say was "youre the reason my tool box is falling apart cause ive gotten so many tools recommended by you" .............And it didnt come out my mouth anywhere close to that. Basically blew up the conversation before it even started. Im still pretty embarrassed about it. But thats just a situation where if you dont have the gift of gab youre pretty much doomed to fail. He took it all in stride regardless. Also doesn't help things were behind schedule and thats certainly not on him. Its lovely he flew all the way to Rosemont to interact with the fans here in the Midwest no matter how big or small that moment may have been. Certainly did much better than William Shatner. Hope the flight back to san fran later that night was good

Oh hey it's that thing from the Honda commercial

You guys should visit the Battleship New Jersey. The collab between Adam and Ryan and possibly Drach??? would put Endgame to shame

Damn. This sucks. I related to him the most on the show. Why is it the good ones that get taken first? There's so much death in the world man๐๐

For anyone wondering, this retroreflector design is inspired by the one in use on Nasa/Isreal's Beresheet Lander. It was launched on Feb. 21, 2019. Its called a Laser Reflective Array

And just as exciting.........that was a lie. The Enterprise reveal was much much better. One of greatest scenes in all of science fiction. Hell in all of cinema.
