  1. You're right, but skylab was .....technically..... part of apollo. It was called the apollo applications program. And skylab was one of the many projects that were supposed to happen but due to funding cuts only skylab actually materialized. Skylab 4 was the third and final mission for the program so that makes it the final mission for apollo.
