There is something like that in the South of the Netherlands as well. There was a site that was used for a flower and garden expo in 2010 and a large building was constructed there for the purpose of this expo, including a walking bridge over the highway. Now 12 years later, they are two impressively large buildings standing in the middle of f*ck all.
