I used to work as a forensic auditor and I can confirm that this video gives a brief, yet good explanation on how money laundering works. In my experience, if I had money to launder, I would buy small, but legal businesses, in countries that are hard to reach by the IRS in my country of origin. Try and prove that I obtained my (highly profitable) hotel in the Bahama's with illegal money. Also, don't draw attention with how you spend your money. Enjoy your wealth in private and don't show off with it cause the police are more than interested in how you got that. This is actually for many criminals how they eventually get caught.
