  1. One thing should be said about the interior; the first and second generation A-Class were more closely related to the Mercedes-Benz Commercial vehicles than their luxury cars. That's why the interior looks more crappy compared to a C-Class from this era, but if you compare it to a Sprinter it looks more similar.

  2. Nice, my father actually had that car when it was new. And several versions of the A-Class that followed. When Mercedes started making the hatchback A-Class, he switched to a BMW 1 Serie.
