  3. They made nice cars, but Spyker Cars failed miserably as a business. They burned trough money at a rate almost as alarming as Elon Musk is doing with Tesla. They had a Formula 1 and Le Mans racing team ow and their net loss was a bigger number than their revenue. They made more money off merchandise than car sales.
