  1.  @cjscarsandcrap1749  I’ve had one in every car I have ever owned. Most of the times you can tell the dealer installed it before delivery so it doesn’t come from the factory. But it’s really a common thing that’s been around for over 10 years.

  2. Is the emergency hammer that special to Americans than? It comes standard with every new car in Europe. My car actually has two of them (and they are called life hammers btw).

  4. The Emergency Hammer (actually called Life Hammer), those come standard with every new car in Europe. So yes, my Skoda Octavia and Seat Ateca actually both have two of them (one for the driver, one for the passenger).

  5.  @gregorsamsa1364  Every new car I have had in the past 5 years came with one pre installed. But either way, you would agree that this is a very common item to have in your car.
