  1. I do think this is a real issue in the United States yes, I recall Doug Demuro calling a Mercedes C Class "a car for a fresh university graduate". In Europe, you just got promoted to middle management in order to afford a car like this.

  2.  @MrDuncl  I wouldn't say a normal C-class would qualify for that, unless we are talking a 6.3 AMG version. But yeah, when I was younger, I knew a couple of guys who had heavily modified cars and they needed special high risk insurance in order to drive that car.
