@GlobalTransformationProject And then it would get voted down and your life would still suck. We fix that by getting more progressives in Congress, not by getting pissed at the few politicians who want to make our lives better.

@MrGolov-te5eb Then you refuse the possibility of anything good ever happening, because you demonize your allies based on the slightest misstep. Y'all did the same thing to Bernie Sanders for conceding a race he was clearly going to lose. Progressives: We care about people unless they're on our side and do one single thing we don't like. Embarrassing.

@Greendalewitch You make a good point. I just think that based on their body of work, the Squad/Justice Dems are more likely to improve things than any other politician, and we shouldn't take that for granted.

@MrGolov-te5eb You called AOC a sociopath. I don't see how that's constructive. Maybe forcing the vote was a good idea, maybe it wasn't. But I can understand how one could be a progressive and not want to force a vote they know they'll lose just for show. Especially since it could be off-putting for the semi-progressive politicians whose votes we need. Outright declaring that AOC sucks seems like an overreaction to me.

@MrGolov-te5eb Well Katie Porter's story was "I had no idea anything was happening and then AOC showed up and we hid in my office for a few hours". That's pretty different. And I would refer back to the tweet David read. If that mob found AOC, what do you think they would've done?
