Being single is not bad, but after being single for 20 years after being a teenager, you start wanting to advance your life. having a family was considered a normal part of being in a society, why would I do things different now if that's what worked for 3 millennia or more. It does feel like running away from something, and the loneliness starts weighting down. But that's what I feel.
