There's genetic evidence that races do exist in the homo sapiens, dogs are much more genetically similar that the humans, yet they have races and are completely different and have different behavior, that 2% Neanderthal DNA does make a huge difference it seems.
Those people are not the same as the European/Asian/Persian Homo Sapiens Sapiens, they're an older branch and they have no point living in out modern society. Ironically it was described in the bible the there were a group of lesser humans closer to the animals than to God, the bible is anecdotal, but it is a record of what people were saying, so that time there were already people that knew this was the truth, the truth doesn't change even if parts are rewritten later. Now we have genetic evidence and very modern studies that came out in 2014 saying that.
See what they did to the places when the Europeans left ? it all crumbled, they cannot maintain complex agricultural civilizations and will always live in the tribal stage, period.
I strongly believe the Neanderthals were smarter than the Homo Sapiens, they lost because they were basically autistic people and very bad at socializing.

@BowserTheMighty its not about being strong or independent, its about the total lack of character arc, the pandering, the stupid plot armor, the OP and total lack of balance of woman characters against anything.
Woman can be strong and independent but they have to earn it like everyone else. That's called writing, I blame humanities courses and their indocrination, they ruined story-telling.
Geez, the character arc is so basic, you can't just plot a god character already made, just be "she is a woman", its boring as hell, and stup1d.

@theWebWizrd "How and why are insurance companies supposed to give out loads of free money? They must get the money from somewhere. Why are you entitled to someone else paying for you?" That's the question that should be asked.
They get the money from the fact that the $120K procedure didn't really cost $120K, think from first principles. Did the medicine cost that much, probably not, did the building space you occupied cost that much in rent ? I bet not (they probably own it), did the 1h or 2h that the doctors worked on you in their salary did cost that much ? probably not.
So how much it really cost, for real ? $20K ? probably less than that.
All medical procedures have a 10x multiplier in their price, and that's how insurance companies are able to cover 80% of the "cost", because the real cost is 1/10 of the cost they say they paid for you. Actually, they could probably cover 100% of it and still be profitable, they are already earning 9/10, but with 80% of cost covered, they earn 9.8 out of 10.
It is a scam.
It is still cheaper for you to pay the $12K a year in insurance, if you have do any procedure once a year, not if you are young and only do 1 procedure per 10 years, but after 25 its all downhill.
On the other hand, if you don't have insurance, you're screwed.

I'm starting to think that was better, woman alone with a vote power is dangerous, they become socialists and socialists are traitors to the holsehold, and ultimately to the country.
Meanwhile man also should take woman's input and not vote alone too, because that's also dangerous, it leads to the patriarchy, and the society becomes less caring of the less fortunate.
Maybe that's why there was wisdom in the traditional nuclear family, which is a Christian thing, who would have though that people doing things for 2000 yeears had traditions because its what works ?
When I have a family, I'm going to run it like I run my startup, you have 50% of share, and 50% of power and duties, that's equality. I will write a contract with serious break clause because I know statistics, woman file for 80% of divorces, and they do it because of hyper-gammy, they find someone better, I don't care, you still have fiduciary duty, and I'm not going to pay you anything, everything is going to the holding in the name of the kid. That's what should happen, and I still control 50% of that, and you're still committed to pay "alimony" , like I pay alimony, that payment goes literally to the child account, not to the mother's. That's fair !
The marriage contract is unfair to the males, woman didn't want equality, they wanted freedom from responsibility.
I can be a provider, but I expect commitment too, that's equality.

@Kalion-ln7ek Its good for new companies entering the market, just stop buying remakes, let the past die. If you want to play the original game, then play it for what it was.
Remakes have to die. all the intellectual property those companies hold are rotten, its never, ever going to be the same way.
The people who made it aren't there anymore, the company doesn't exist anymore, its all a hollow corporate husk carcass with woke employees that are pandering and won't ever respect the original material because they were given the power to desecrate the holy IP of the company, while being paid to do so, they know its a racket.
Stop giving those companies money, give money to new incumbent companies with new games and ideas, let the past be the past !
For ex, let star wars die, its already dead, let dysney die, let things die, don't buy remakes.
If the old things never die, there won't be space for new things to grow, that should be obvious.

@Rakstawr " As a senior engineer with almost two decades of experience " I am one too, AI is basically a very dumb intern, if it keeps growing at the rate its growing, maybe in 15 years.
But there are already signs of diminishing returns. GPT4o is basically a power optimization. They're already 7 months late to the 3 months of AGI dominating the entire human species. And every day that passes, the exponential turns out to be a mere normal curve, a fluke.
Just remember that they were developing that crap since 2014, and only in 2020 GPUs became good enough to be able to do what they were trying to do, so there's a physical cap. The next nVidia GPU is 200% faster, but uses 500% more power, they're close to the ceiling.
So, people, don't worry too much about AI.
Also, remember that as a human you only need 20w of power to do what you do, not 200GW. Any power crisis and this AI shit goes dark.

Human rights were created for war prisoners, so the state wouldn't use overwhelming force against them, it was because of war. They were there to stop your government from committing atrocities to the citizens of your enemy because they don't have any rights under your law, so technically you can literally do anything you want to wars prisoners.
It was never meant for criminals. Criminals don't have rights, the moment you stop following civil law, you should lose all of your rights.
The entire point of humans coming together and living in society is the rule of law, everyone follow the same rules, so we can have the same protections and rights. The moment you decide to be a criminal, you should lose the rights.
There shouldn't be rights just because you're human, what bullshit is that, you have to behave to be part of society. If you're going to act like an animal, then you're going to be treated like one.
That's why I'm against "human rights". Humans don't have rights, they have obligations, to respect the law, that gives them rights. It should be conditional, otherwise we can't have a society.
Maybe human should have basic rights, like access to the Sun, to water and food, and not be tortured, and that's it.
Human rights are being misused by judges for a moral unlawful cult of empathy, and for releasing dangerous people in society, instead of being used for the intended purpose: to stop war torture by governments.

its even more ironic because consoles ARE actually dead. A PS4 is an AMD Jaguar, which is a AMD x86 CPU and a Radeon GPU onboard, like a notebook. My old Intel PC from 2016 is 3.5GHz . PS5 is just the AMD Zen2 , it is still a x86 PC in a box.
The first Xbox was literally a Pentium III. XBox One uses the same Jaguar CPU,
The only real last consoles where the "Xbox 360" and the "Playstation 3", those were the last ones, its dead, Jim.
PS5 and the XSX are basically a "Ryzen 5 3600X" with a "RX 6800" . They are weak PCs.
Consoles are basically onboard small PCs made at scale with some extra bus width in the PCI-express and dedicated memory, so they're cheap to make and sold almost at the cost because they really earn money from the licensing.
Consoles are basically embedded PCs , and like an IPhone, closed so you can't do what you want to do with them.

@overlorddante Exactly, when it comes to human behavior we have the intelligence to know the result of our actions. things are bad or good based on the outcomes, it doesn't matter if the behavior is natural or not. A natural behavior that leads to a bad outcome is a bad behavior, and an unnatural behavior that leads to a good outcome (for ex, forced monogamy), is a good behavior.
The feelings and the reasons of what you tried to do doesn't matter, only the outcome matters. If it is bad, thus you're bad. Simple as that.
The outcome of all of the social movement ends up in degeneracy, p3d0f1l1@ and overall fall of the civilization, thus the gay/lesbian/trans/shit is bad, not because you literally go to hell, but you metaphorically bring society down to hell.
The religious people warned us, maybe because they have written anecdotes of what happened before, did anyone ever thought about it that way ? in our arrogance we think it will be different this time, for sure it will... The Roman Empire didn't fell in one swoop.
We wanted "liberty", liberty from the rationality and the discipline that created the amazing Western civilization and all of the modern comforts will lead to its downfall, history is full of failed civilizations.
Its still not to late to turn the ship around, BRING BACK SHAME to those behaviors.

@bryandavisdesign Doest matter , just have some crypto , if you win now in the next 5 to 10 years , youre going to be a Lord. Everyone else get locked out for the next thousand years . Were back to feudalism.
its tecnofeudalism, also the 4th gen industry takes most jobs, this is a cyberpunk dystopia already. The birth rates fall, its going to be nothing like 1920, its going to be like the black death, but instead of a virus is just the mental knowing that you're useless. In normal feudalism they needed the workers, and people though capitalism was bad for exploiting the workers. Being exploited is bad, but know whats worse, being useless. The system will give you the basics, but not purpose or power or even acknoledgement, you only ever get the bottom needs of the maslow pyramid. Its over already.

Know what's more ironic, their labs were doing research for the American companies, gain of function research, or as I like to call it "biological weapon development". It was shit from a Resident Evil plot, no one could believe it. That the Chinese government would first, allow American companies to develop bioweapons in the Chinese soil, second, force a leak by turning a blind eye to the lack of security and waiting for it, and third launch a Media campaign to create fear about it, so the wheels start turning.
It was a perfect attack ! The first ever use of a biological weapon in war.
And the most amazing thing, it only worked because Nature itself helped by making so the virus evolved the two genetic keys necessary to jump from birds to humans (or they were evolved in another lab on purpose, who knows). So it was both a natural evolution AND a lab leak, and people were fighting over this, it turned out that both things were true at the same time.
How did they knew about all of that to be able to plan for it, it must have been some MkUltra shit that only the CIA were usually able to do it, I bet the Chinese has some special organization doing all sources of mythical research and timed everything perfectly (they're still going to lose the traditional war in 2029).

I find it funny that AI was able to automate creative jobs instead of the highly technical. Because when you draw a horse, for example, little mistakes or not being exactly technically right doesn't matter, its artistic either way.
For example, creating web sites is basically considered artistic work, its not highly technical, which is why LLMs, aka, "AI" is able to do it, but they can't create a database like SQL-Server for example, that's highly technical, but the marketing on AI don't want you to know.
The real problem is how many different databases we need and how many sites did we need. Most sites in the world use 1 database : "mysql", so the job for engineers on that is small, but with millions of sites, millions of bad inexperienced developers could have a job (yes, if you have less than 10 years of experience, you're still a noob, programming is not easy, its super hard, it was all marketing).
But now with AI doing the easy part of the job, all of those web sites and apps can be automated, they are not highly technical, specially because most developers use frameworks, which abstract away the technical side, they don't know how to do it, now they lose their jobs, too bad, isn't it?

Yes, because the factories and machines aren't expensive in Europe, what's expensive is the workers.
If I had more money I would buy an container ship, park it outside Europe in international waters, put a lot of Chinese/Indian (not African, they're too dumb for any factory work, are they even homo sapiens? where's the neanderthal DNA, it makes you smart, not dumber, ironically) in the ship and manufacture the product closer to where its consumed, thus making a huge profit.

Then they literally say "normalize p3d0", it is not a slippery slope fallacy, it is not a fallacy, that's called inductive reasoning, its a common mathematical proof technique, you take things to the extreme, if they still hold on extreme, they will hold on the simple case. I mean, if the extreme end result is bad, the small incremental start must also be bad and it should be cut from the root, get rid of all gay shit, the religious people were right all along.
Slippery slope IS NOT A FALLACY

21:17 I'm the one coding since I was 9 years old, I got a job in programming when I was 14. Now that I am a business owner, I don't care about degrees. I do have a degree in CS, I got mine just so my family would stop complaining, the boomers think you really made in life if you got a degree. I said, fine, I'll get one, I might not need any of the technical parts, but at least it might be good for business and relations and learning soft skills. I wasn't wrong.
I still don't put that much value on degrees, if the candidate has soft skills, he's already above the graduates that not only don't know any technical aspect (they know theory, and have little practice, I had 1000h of practice when I was 10, they have 400h), they don't have the soft skills.

You have to live in your parents basement and make 6 figures, and do it until you're 40 years old, its the only way to save enough to actually get a start in life. Its that insane, and they can they it from you easily, because the government is full of socialist programs that are basically stealing things.
Man, I hate communism, you were supposed to fight it, not join them, western civilization...
We need a new Renaissance, or even Cesarism, lets move away from republic and into an empire.

stop using AI .
The principle of operation consider that gravity is a field, like the magnetic field. If light is an electromagnetic wave, it seems possible that one could have gravitoelectric waves or magnetogravity waves that would cancel out gravity.
That would mean relativity mathematics is right, but the point of view is wrong, its not the space-time that curves, its just the gravity field that curves, just like the electric field curves if you move a magnet, or a charged electric particle curves electric field and produce motion in the magnetic field. That also makes sense that the gravity of Earth is huge as it has a 2 different metals rotating at each other in the core, that produce magnetic, electric and gravitational fields. (who would have thought that the electric universe hypothesis might be right and that quantum physics is basically wrong, I bet the information from Astronomy is right and the Physicists and the entirety of the so called "Modern Physics" is wrong, there's not a crisis in Astronomy, everyone presumed the physics was right, but it really is the other way around)
You just have to have an immense electrically charged mass to make changes in the electrogravity field, that wouldn't be too hard to test, just have immense amounts of mercury and discharge huge amount of energy on it as it rotates. (funny that I had a dream about that out of nowhere when I was 12, now it makes sense)
That's how you create the unified field theory, by having 3 interacting fields instead of only 2.

I could afford a house as a millennial, just had to live with my father until 30 and save money on rent for 10 years for a down payment then work 5 more years to pay the mortgage. I started working when I was 14. I also went to state university, so I only had to spent $20K on my computing science degree, which I paid as I worked, oh, that was 2012, don't go for CS now, its saturated already, which is why you can't have a job there, you have to compete with me, I have 30 years of experience and I have the degree, I have everything, yes, I am that person that started when I was 10 years old.
I had to sacrifice so much time I could have been playing games...
Now I get to be like a boomer and say "back in my day", I had to work 15 years to pay for my house, Gen-Z is fucked, they're going to just have to work for 40 years and live with their moms on government subsidies, by the time they're 70 maybe they'll have their own house.

yep, people think the big fauna is important, this is the world of bacteria, we're nothing for them, for every kilo of human, there's hundreds of tons of bacteria.
and people think killing animals to eat is bad, in the end we're all going to be eaten by the bacteria. its all pointless anyway, so eat what taste good. don't eat humans, they cause too many legal troubles, and humans are disgusting because they're dirty like rats, probably rats are cleaner to eat if you really need.

@mathewb7076 " for the most part I agree, but the risk is too high when there's always a chance for human error. "
There are almost 500 reactors running right now. The risk is not high, there's very little chance for human error and those systems were tested a lot and there's contingency for human error. You can deal with human error, what you cannot deal is corruption.
You don't put "3-mile Island, SL-1, Sellafield" together with Fukushima, or Chernobyl. 3-mile island was more of an incident caused by bad security procedures, the risk is high if you don't manage the risk properly.
One thing is accidents that are caused by errors, another entire think is a STUPID DESIGN like the RBMK used by the communists that don't value human life AT ALL.
Nothing can be as incompetent and corrupt as the Soviet Union, its impossible to be corrupt at that level, that accident will never happen again.
And Fukushima was not an human error, it was really a bad calculation of risks, the government decided to keep operating the plant after its end-of-life date, it should have been decommissioned.
You want to talk about risks, they bet against a storm that happens in 1 in 150 years and lost. The risk was very, very, very small. Fukushima really was kind of unlucky, but it also proves why you don't over-rule the engineers that designed the thing.
The argument that the risk is high is stupid, all risks are high if you don't mitigate the risks. Even a mere propane tank can have a high risk if you don't put security measures.
Risks aren't the problem, corruption is. But if we aren't allowed to engineer things because of corruption we might as well give up all of modern society, because even the humble fire has "risks" and cities used to burn down every time. Yet, no one banned having fires, we learned to control risks and not be so corrupt, how about that ?
There's a thing that usually works against corruption : being honest, crazy isn't ? The people working in the nuclear industry are the most honest people I met, they take the thing very seriously as they're literally working with fire. (its actually the steam that's dangerous).
That's only a problem for socialist countries, really.
Oil spills happen once a year and no one cares, then people want to talk about risks...
I would live in a house 1 block near a Nuclear Power plant but I would never live in a city that has a Oil Refinery or any sort of Chemical plant, or even worse, a Coal plant.

such ridiculous idea of "equality and fairness", the real world is not equal or fair. survival means unfairness, if you want to live you have to do what's required. this false equivalence is at the center core of liberalism, that's why I'm not a liberal anymore. Their propaganda got me when I was in school, it took along time to deprogram that idea that people are equals, that the world if fair and that you should act fairly. No you shouldn't, you should act with all of your power, you only treat people as equals if they treat you as equal, for the others, they're less than that, you just don't care.

@oldmanbiscuit7518 And that will be their end. Normies are fed up with the woke.
The woke is basically a bunch of elite people that are literally privileged with power saying shit, meanwhile the workers and the rest of the normies just want to consume their products in peace with their hard earned money without ANY pandering or "education" (the working class hates marxism, the marxists are the ones part of the elite cosplaying as working class, no one is stupid, they see that, its clear as day).
The fun thing is that most countries outside the US saw what's happening in terms of the left being in power and overreaching and are basically saying enough, we don't want that. So there is this red wave of reactionary right all over the world (the right was always reactionary, it reacts to the insanity of the left and try to keep things as they are instead of letting society devolve).
But the core of the US is where the neoliberal left power is emanating, so their are the last ones, but the red wave is coming for them, they still don't understand how at odds they are to the normal people, they think they are the unprivileged ones, the revolutionaries, the small guy, but they are the entrenched power to be toppled.
That's why they don't understand why Trump won, he was an outsider, and he's probably going to win again for the exact same reason, most don't even care about the far-right and their stupid religious ideas, we just want change.
People are getting fed up with the status quo of the woke commiefornia being the center of the media/entertainment world. Change will happen as hollywoke burns to the ground.

@PixelSubstream you cannot learn to code in 4 years, it takes an entire decade to start to get good, people have no idea how absurdly hard it is, anyone can do simple mathematics like trigonometry, but being a mathematician is an entire different game.
The demand for programmers was never that high to begin with, it was companies with 0% interest money just inflating the number of workers to prove that they're growing. Those weren't even doing anything useful. Now its all gone because 0% interest money isn't there. Also, Elon musk firing 85% of XTwitter and the thing still work as badly as before showed how bad people working there were.
Real programmers aren't being replaced with AI, data entry clerks are, and frontend developers that create user interfaces, something that could already be automated without even using AI if people weren't that stupid. But C-suit managers need people to manage to justify their salary , even if their entire task is useless and could have been replaced by software already.
Also the entire job of frontend is basically keep changing the interface of a site for no good reason every 6 months, its just busy work.
Of curse the media is going to try to push, you learn how to code. But the quasm between 6 figures and them earning barely $30K/y is going to be brutal, and they're never going to be given the tasks that move you from a mere coder to becoming an engineer.
How many technicians fix cars versus how many engineers work creating the cars, that's what's going to happen.

@filidhdeklend893 eventually there will be a "hitler", and then people will be : the boy who cried wolf, they'll just ignore him. also, it is not a big deal, democracy is a degenerate state after the fall of a republic, it can either be reinstated or turned into an empire, like Rome did. Ironically because the Optimales, which were the democrats, refused to do what the masses wanted, thus a populist came and took their place, they hate that, that's why they're so afraid of "hitler", aka, any populist. Ironically populism is better than "mob-rule", aka, "democracy".

@Yotrymp no, its because of fuel, its demo-rat stupid "climate change" (TM) politics of making everyone poor to save the "environment" (TM), by making the cost of fuel extremely high, there's no reason for the fuel to be that high. Yes, there was a bit of demand because of the wars, but they're restricting it on purpose and taxing the hell out.
Parasites ! that's what they are, this is the left and the act like the same all over the entire West, they're just using the government machine and siphoning all the resources to their stupid parties, meanwhile everyone else gets poorer, and the billionaires and the corporations get the blame, meanwhile the government spending is 100 times bigger than even Apple.
If this is not Socialism, I don't know what it is.

@GhostLyricist soon there will be only poor and CostCo, welcome to CostCo we love you. its inevitable, there's no point in fantasizing about the past .
"1970s avg salary 10k, avg house price 20k.
2024 avg salary 55k, avg house price 350k."
So what ? before you had to work 2 years, now you have to work 6 years. Are you going to cry or work ? you probably spent 4 years crying about it, doing stupid social studies degrees, that didn't helped it, did ?
Asmon is totally right, it literally doesn't matter, you have to fix it yourself. I had to live with my parents and save for 10 years to have my own house, I didn't cry my grand-father had it easier, I just sucked it up went there and put up the work.
And I guarantee you, that when I'm old there will be people crying they now have to work 30 years to pay for their house.
"We" could get rid of corporations, sure...
I'm out of this fight, good luck.
Why are people so dellusional.

@purple-47 yes, that's exactly why everyone looks at Rome, I mean, the entire Western world is just a province of the Great American Empire.
Image the core of our civilization failing to marxist communism.
If that happens at the capital, the fight is over, they will also meddle with your country anyway, but now instead of Liberal Democracy (as in classical liberal) meddling with your politics and potentially fixing it by getting rid of commie candidates . Now you have a Socialist Managerial Bureaucratic one , aka, a Communist meddling with your crap, because that's what it is, just like China.
Great leap, am I right. (never believe in anyone that says " its for your good " or that they are " good people ", those are cunning foxes, they're the worst)

@alvarojneto " America is a train crash. You simply can't look away from that."
Ever wondered how it was when the Roman republic was falling, short before the Roman Empire ? that was what it must have looked like.
We need an emperor , any order is better than this chaos, because freedom we already lost, you cant have freedom if the bureaucratic state control everything, so whats the point. The more they stay in power, the worst its going to get, we're directed to the same place China is now with the exact same system : a bureaucratic managerial nanny state (aka, communism) .
Doing anything is literally better than the stasis of the unwillingness to address anything of the current status quo. Doing anything through the first of power is literally better even if there's no democratic input, at least something will get done.
Ever heard of that corollary than any bad decision is better than inaction ? that's what we need now.
And empires aren't that bad, for 90% of the human civilization time we lived under imperialism. Anything is better than communism, its that simple. Maybe not feudalism, but even that is better than maoism/marxism/hegel , that entire line of philosophy is just cancer.

I've been working since 2004, I started when the first bubble exploded and it was a desolate land.
The fact that its hard and the good times are over is actually a good thing, the grifters are gone. Only the professionals remains, those annoying kids that are only for the $ and for showing and the "lifestyle" are gone. Finally we can have peace. It was annoying, because all they could think was "web development" everything had to fit inside this stupid browser box, I hate web development, computing and software development is much more than that, than stupid web sites.
And its not even that bad either, it just deflated a bit, like a bad muffin, we're back to just 2018 levels.
I just don't care about feelings, I saved enough from going very hard in 2011 with webservices, that I don't even need to that much work anymore and can afford to be out of a job for 4 years, those youngsters spent all they earned living on expensive places and expensive adult-baby-sitting services that now bad times came, they don't have savings. Too bad.

@Gurd-f2z I give you a tip, now that the frenzy is a bit down, go for things far away from the marketing. Go for networking, systems, anything that's technical and far from user interface and web development or front-end "engineering", that's what actually produces value, its the backend that manages and massages the data, and data is what produces value.
Frontend is kinda useless. In the business I run, I do the frontend using standardized tools and use AI to create the design and the stupid HTML code, which is boring and repetitive either way, I don't care, that saves me countless hours and $$$ and I can focus on what produces value for my business, which is data, computers are made to process data, not to be pretty.
Ugly software is ugly but still works, no one really cares about "UX" or "user experience", remember that the user is just an employee of a corporation, who cares what they want.
Having millions of front-end developers was always set to be excessive , they were never needed to begin with.
Except now with AI, I can have something less ugly for almost free, its not better than an actual human designer specialist, but I wouldn't care either way, I care a bout the function, not the form.
It was marketing, that's what it was, when sales are down, they're the first ones to go, you're not going to get rid of the engineers working on the plumbing that keeps the lights on, that's so obvious.
