  2. The irony is that it uses absurd amounts of energy that comes from oil drilling, that's even worse ! There's 10 million people living in a place where its only possible for 100k at most, and they already drained all of the potable water, there's none left. Its going to be literally Dune there. I already collect PDFs, I wish I could collect books. But I have a solution for that, its basically a computer made of discrete circuits that I can repair. Its tech from 1980, and I can power it with biodiesel. (sorry, fossil fuels aren't going away, they are going to come back and the globalized world goes down)

  3.  @theanode  sure, SEO techniques is a cat and mouse, but google is optimized for the "ads", not for the actual function of searching. heck, its probably even worse for those buying ads, I bet the click-through ratio is going down and down, as google profits more and more, eventually you're paying for ads, and none are actually being displayed, and you can't even know because google owns all data brokers that do telemetry, its a perfect crime !

  7.  @Lucas-bf4pw  it might be possible to create what would be the equivalent of low-volume production of semiconductors using cheap magnetic electron micro-scopes. instead of photolitography you use sputtering and manually move atoms using a microscope, its slow, but you can have your own microchips.

  9. That doesn't solve the problem, they use liquid cooling internally, but its not a closed loop system. The evaporative cooling is used to interface with the atmosphere, because they measure efficiency in the ratio of power usage on the actual servers vs cooling machinery. So there's a strong incentive to do that and actually spend energy on the servers, which is what produce profit for their bottom line. So the water system be damned.

  12. Those Cartel Oligarchs actually hate capitalism. They can't survive in the open markets, that's why they love the government power of veto, and socialism. Its why ultra rich billionaires like the Soros invest in "woke psyops" to install socialism/communism. After you grabbed the markets, you have to close them. Monopolies can only survive because the government protects them. That's why schools teach communism/socialism and the "capitalists" allows them, because we don't live in a capitalist society anymore, we live in feudalism. Capitalism means you own things, they literally said "you will own nothing". And on top of that, people want the government to "tax the rich", do people even know how business work, taxes are like "a fixed cost of production", its the consumer that ALWAYS pays it. I have a business, and I pay 200% of taxes on some components I import, it literally doesn't matter, it could be 800%, I pick the price of the product, multiply by the tax, add my profit on top and that's the price the customer will pay. When are people going to learn ? never. And I keep in vain telling "the wealth of nations". Also , we should get rid of copyright laws, or at least reform them so the max protection is only 5 years, 5 years is plenty of time to make a profit. Most things sold in terms of IP only matter for the first couple of months anyway. All because of the darned `dysney` damn rat. Scam Alternative Man, you won this time. but not against my server farm running open source software and open source LLMs, on open source hardware. another thing, why only 1 company in the world can make 4nm chips, that cannot be impossibly hard, can it ? maybe they run it like the space program, ironically, maybe if TSMC was run more like SpaceX (the irony).
