Someday this will have to change. Everyone sees it has stagnated since the 80s, all because of excessive regulation.

  3. I'll never forget one time I had to walk 10 km because the payment system was down and I didn't have cash to even pay for the bus. I was a strange feeling, at the same time I had $20K in the "cloud" I couldn't use, it was useless numbers in a computer I couldn't use to pay for the darned bus. I felt like a broke bum, even thou I wasn't broke. And I was traveling in a foreign place and I didn't knew anyone I could ask for a favour, I was totally alone with nothing except this useless piece of plastic that I can't use to pay for anything. The system was offline for a couple of hours, but I wouldn't just wait for it, I went walking 10 km to my destination. I was young and I walk fast, walking 10km took 4 hours. I guess I learned the hard way why you should always have cash on you.

I wonder if we can use AI to substitute then, imagine an automated system running on Etherium buying shit in China, sending it to warehouses, then waiting for enough items to consolidate there, then buying a shipping container, all automated, then delivering it to the US, hiring an un-loader company full of "low-wage" workers (or robots) to unload it into trucks and send them to the destination, the trucks are also "low-wage" hired directly by the system and they deliver directly to your door. This entire system will have no company or person, it'll be 100% code.
