I'm pinning this so you didnt waste your time writing this. I dont mind republishing this as an article on DPA website. Do email me at admin@defensepoliticsasia.com - so that we can discuss abit, as I want to attribute as well as edit it to make it look more like an article and not "addressing it to me". Cheers~

Exactly - which will be the only countries that can have any sort of trade parity.

Yoz~ I'm a nobody when I'm put alongside "real experts" - like those from the think tanks from RSIS / MEI or even those in the civil service. Really. I know my place. I'm nothing compared to them. The problem is not "expertise" - its merely the difference in the principles and methodologies we used to analyze the world. Mine, honestly, is still not "scientific" enough - which I will continue to polish into a formula where everyone can use - but for now, its largely some vague but very consistent guiding principles that I use for my analysis. I was formerly in SAF within the intel umbrella - I know plenty of people who are way more qualified to be called "experts" than me - those with more than a decade more military intel experience than I did. I dont have a doctorate to back my credentials up either. So no Singapore media is going to call me up for interview - I'm not part of the 'elites'.

You are literally commenting on platform created by USA, hosted in USA, sitting on technology created by USA, on internet invented by USA. Get my point?

Thats exactly what I said. An economic model that's not compatible with the rest of the world.

@blgama the main difference is China dont respect IP and they have total protectionist policies that blocks all western corporations from their market unless they do tech transfer. Most countries cant do that

Both can be correct at the same time you know? Everything you said is true but at the same time does not invalidate what I said. Those wealthy chinese had to do a lot to get their money out of China. Its not easy at all. Factions within CCP is normal. But its not democracy. None of the other "parties" are relevant. Citing them is irrelevant in reality. And political battles within China is normal as well. It happens in every country. When I explain, I'm talking about the macro situation. No one can unseat or defies XJP. So whatever "opposition" is moot. No one can stand against the CCP in China.
